We got up early at six o’clock so as to get the ticket of Pavilion of Dreams in the Taipei International Flora Exposition which has been held for four months. However, I didn’t know anything about that until this week. Because the new semester has begun, it was Friday instead of holiday; we thought that there would be more change to visit some popular Pavilion.
Fortunately, we got the ticket of Pavilion of Dreams after two hours though something happened. The Pavilion of Dreams had always thought the greatest Pavilion in Taipei International Flora Exposition. They exhibit some new technology which is connected with people and flowers that was designed by cooperating with Industrial Technology Research Institute. Everyone will be given a watch before entering the Pavilion, and you could enjoy any interacting facilities. Though, it was an exposition of flowers, I think the new technology would be more important role than the others.
There was the important topic throughout the Exposition: Environmental protection. It would usually be thought that plants would the good for environmental protection, so lots of plants are used for helping cool down the temperature and cleaning the water, although the weather was cold today. Another one is solar energy which also easy to see them anywhere in the Exposition. In fact, the solar energy is the lowest efficiently energy right now. As a result, it was still hard to be a general energy in our life.
The most appreciated design for me in the Exposition is the buildings. Most of them have the creative shape. Moreover, these good designs will help them to use less energy. For example, some of them are pervious to light well which we don’t have to turn too many lights in the buildings. On the other hand, lots of plastic bottles are used for building which were recycled from our life. Good or not, there are still lots of building have existed before the Exposition which might belong to Xinsheng park, Art Museum or Taipei Children Recreation Center.
About the flower area, there are different kinds of theme. However, not anyone has their characteristic clearly. I thought the theme from different countries or cities is the greatest one. They are from their own countries or cities. It was other kinds of Ads, so the result would not be too bad.
Overall, it has been the biggest activities from ancient times till now. They spent lots of source for them. Though, only the flowers without others are hard to attract people in such big area, it is still a good opportunity for Taipei to hold such a big activity.
