One Aim

More than twenty years old, or quadrant of our life, it is the time we have to work harder for something, not only the school works. What kind of person we would be in the future might be decision nowadays. Or we could say what kind of person we are had been decided by what we did in the past. Taking action is always easier than knowing. However, we still can take plan to improve ourselves for some reason.

One of my training of sports these months would be emphasized on practicing basketball. Just like the other plan, I want to improve something I have been good at already, and we can get better. Basketball may be a best example for me. In fact, I have played the ball for more ten years. I used to be crazy at playing ball and did it every night. Nonetheless, I don’t want to let it be a game forever. We can do better by some training, or from a beginning train. The first step I do was to examine each basic action, such as dribbling and shooting. On the other hands, making suitable goals is also very important.


A typical training is about two hours from two parts. One of them is basic actions which I might do many kinds of professional dribbling and go and back for two or three times. It would improve our feeling of the balls observable after a month. The other part was shooting. It takes more time than basic actions for certain, because we have to practice from near to far or from front to zero angles. The three points line has been changed farther since last year. Though, it was a bad news for some three points shooter, it might be a good change for me to practice from the beginning.

The training has been for five months. We can see some improvement nowadays. I made a goal to finish in the end of this year. Since it will be winter vacation next months, I think it would be a time to check my results.

Dried Persimmon

There are different activities in Hsinchu each season. In fall, lots of people think of wind. It is the most famous feature in Hsinchu. Due to its location and terrain, Northeast monsoon would be more obvious than other place. Thus, some properties which have relations with the winds would be in vogue. The dried persimmon may be a good example.

Lots of dried persimmons have grown in Xinpu where is located in northern of chupei. It is not too far from our school, so every year we would take a weekend to visit and take some pictures. By the way, it is a popular topic for photographer when they take lots of dried persimmons dry in the sun. We don’t know the manufacture process for sure, but air-dried is the process which attracts many people. We went to Xinpu on the afternoon on Saturday. There are many factories and stores about dried persimmons gathering in one place. As a result, we could choose one of them to visit. However, there were lots of tourists with bus because of weekend. We discovered that people took camera or even SLR in the majority. Just as expected, when we entered one of them, we found out that lots of taking some pictures about scene of persimmons dried in the sun. And the shops sold these dried persimmons at the same time.

11 Seconds Per 100 Meters

Athletic meet, which used to look forward to every day in past hasn’t attract anymore. I always remember how I love track and field and practice each before the game had been taken place. However, each hobby would be over due to some reasons, such as enthusiasm, curiosity, or even the ages. Though, I believe I still can take a good grade at athletic meet this year, I know that the result without any breakthrough wouldn’t attract me anymore.

It was been a long time. I found that I have the talent for track and field when I was about six or seven years old. Unfortunately, asthma made me limit to join any game about sports. Thus, the first time I took part in athletic meet was the time when I was second grade in the elementary. And the second one was when I was fifth grade because I concealed the fact of my disease. However, this game made me success absolutely. I got my first gold medal in my life, and repeated champion next year. From that time, the athletic meet would become a part of my life. And then, the good grades made me join the track and field team. Though, we weren’t in the sports class, the regular training and the opportunity of taking part in big games made me eye-opening. My best grade was at the ages of 14 years old. After the year, some injuries perplexed me for playing basketball. I got the biggest error when the athletic meet of my third grade in my junior high. Unfortunately, the injuries still perplexed me when I was senior high. It even happens that I got three times accident a semester. As a result, there was no any time for me to recover.

Be A Designer

Computer used to be the most important element in my life. My hobbies and budget would be built on it. Writing program or some webs might be the largest hobbies in the past. Even, I had been a member of electrical industrial study club in my senior high school. However, I seldom write the program when I had been graduated. The main reason was that I failed in entering the department of information engineering. In fact, I still believe we couldn’t leave out the computer or program forever due to we are still in the life which the computer solution in essential. Before it happened, the web designing become my work at first.

The websites are indispensable for sure in our daily life. Though, in the school, the departments or clubs also need them to convey information, or image even. I thought it was the work I might like to do. I fell in love in design after being a collage school due to tiring of too many rules in our engineering domain. I studied some graphic design which I thought would be helpful for web designing. Then, in order to throw away the html or create new design thinking, I started to spend time on learning FLASH which a good tool of creating the animation but also good at web designing. There are lots of possible in FLASH. As a result, I combined the computer knowledge which I learned in the past, graphic design, and FLASH skills, so as to make the website we liked.

We Still Believe

Each hobby has their time-limit. Some of them are just tried in some of our particular period. The club would be the best example for it. Lots of people wouldn’t persist of their hobby of club when they had graduated, even when we were in the upper grade. Some of my hobby might be the good example also, such as I haven’t put too much emphasis on writing program when I had graduated from senior high school. However, I think the music wouldn’t be another example, even though I had ever thought I would give up in the past.

I think I didn’t have enough groundwork when I had started to tried it. When I was a freshman, I hadn’t played the piano for a long time. I had learned guitar a little. There were not too many ideas when I joined the digital music club or guitar club. Being good at design might be the most important reason which made me confidence. Nevertheless, I spent lots of time on practicing these musical instruments in the beginning. First, I had to be familiar with piano which I had learned when I was a child. And then, learning the guitar well could make me compose pop music quickly. Finally, I began to learn drum because I wanted to learn more musical style thorough. By the way, the drummer is the most important in a band in my mind, so I took this position. However, these would be only the skill of each musical instrument. How to compose was still a big mission. Few books are talking about it, but I don’t know why. As a result, we had to listen to lots of music and analyzed other score. The only thing we could do was to imitate their works. Of course, it was impossible that our works would be as good as theirs.

Do What I Want

It was the end of October, the second month of this semester. We are at the last stage when we have been a student. What is the next would not be known certainly for anyone. Each has their own plan, something good or bad. In the past, we always aspired the opportunely to choose, or on the other words: hope. What kind of person we are have been decided by what we do in the past. Similarly, what kind of person we want to be would be decided by what we do or we are going to do. Above all, these months, the time we would choose our future, will be more important. The life nowadays of me could talk this truth.

Enjoy the life and work hard at the same time do not always conflict each other. We have to love something when we are going to do. Though, some works would be just a work, not the interests. How to love your work would be more important than just finish them. No one knows what the only truth in the world is, but we can choose a belief or a philosophy by you. And then follow them. I believe the life next year would be changed surely. I don’t know it would be better or worse than the life nowadays. However, what kind of life in the future can be decided by what we do now. When we got older, we will want to enhance something we good at instead of extending the rage of domain. Each chosen has own reason. All reason follows different viewpoint and values.

Taipei World Design Expo

In recently, the most important activities in Taipei might be the Taipei World Design Expo. It has been held since last week and it would be until the end of this month. It was an expo which exhibits all kinds of design, including interior design, poster design or the most of, Industrial design. I had been looking forward to this expo for a long time. Even, it is free for everybody. Thus, I decide to go to see this expo this week with my classmate of junior high school. This exhibition venue is near our neighborhood. The day we went to was not a holiday, so there would not be too crowded. When we had arrived there, we still see lots of people falling in line in front of each hall. Thus, we made some plan and then join the other people.

The first one we enter was about the architecture and interior design. It doesn’t exhibit the real stuff or model. They just put a poster to introduce instead. Though, much of them we haven’t heard of before, their works was very famous. Some of them are the landmark of city or some might be in the part of our life, such as eslite bookstore. We can know each of their thinking when they design each of their works. And then, the second hall we went to a one with poster. All of them are in our life, but we haven’t noticed them before. For example, the movie posters, CD packages, or even the cover of books was exhibit in this hall. Sometimes, they might just be a subordinate role, but a good subordinate role could make the production well certainly. The third one, we visited some handicrafts. The line of this hall would be the longest one. However, we don’t think it would be as good as we had imagined. It displays many handicrafts from each country. As a result, we could enjoy many kinds of style at one time. However, it is hard to understand which the relationship between these works is. By the way, the idea of these handcrafts would not state well.

In The Memory

Though, the new semester have been probably a month, I was live in Taipei most of my time. As a result, I want to know and understand about my neighborhood again. Just like the time when I lived in Hsinchu. I made the life simpler, sports and music included. I want my life would like the past when I was junior high school student. For example, I like to listen to some old music or go to somewhere I used to in the past.

Military housing in Xinyi might be a good example to cherish the memory of.

I still remember that it was used when I was child. It was so crowded that we had never what had happened in the house. It was like another world in the city. It was very strange because it was hard to connect with the environment. However, the government also noticed these problems. The military housing would be pull down due to the new city developed plan. I think the works had been done about nine years ago. It was reformed to a park and museum. It exhibited lots of stuff about the military house in the past. By the way, they still retain some represently house. Thus, these old house might become a part of park. Although, it was kinds of department in Xinyi, but build a place to relax would be a good idea for city life. I remember that our art teacher in junior high school sometimes would take us to there to sketch. It was a difficult mission for us at that time, because the Taipei 101 was near there. How to put them in the same frame was not easy for us.

Plan B

It is the third week of this semester. All of activities had been finished, Triathlon, course choosing included. It means that it would be the second stage of my life of this semester. From now on, I only have to go to school twice a week since I only have few credit points. Fortunately, all of these courses are on Monday and Tuesday only. However, I would not join much of extracurricular activities like before. Our team of department might practice on Wednesday, so I could not follow them certainly. Our band might practice on the Friday night, so I should withdraw from them necessarily. As a result, I took two part of life due to two different places. Something I do at Hsinchu would be done at Taipei.

I know the different environment would make different life style all along, so I followed this rule to make my new plan. First all of, I only can practice drum at Hsinchu, so I practice acoustic guitar at Taipei. On the other hand, I would put my electric guitar at my dorm because I might record some music someday which I couldn’t do at home. For sports, I wouldn’t be really sure presently. I can spent a lot of time practicing basketball at Taipei, but I don’t know how good it is I practice baseball or swimming at which place. Finally, I would study different subject when I would be at school or home. I only have one course of our department this semester. I hope I could study them well only on Monday, because I don’t want to bring the notebook or textbook back to home. Similarly, I hope I can review the subject which we have learned before at home. On the other hand, I would study lots of history, military affairs and English for these free months. Briefly, I hope my life would be simple and I can only follow these biggest topics in my life: learning (natural science and Social sciences), sports and music. There might be a lot of activities at school because it is the last year of our collage life. Nonetheless, the highest goal should put the strongest will. I expect I can do that.

For Swimming

Due to prepare triathlon, we started to practice swimming this summer vacation. I remember that I had learned swimming when I was an elementary student. However, a swimming camp in a week couldn’t teach very well certainly. We could know each step of stroke in the camp, but how to swim well would be another issue. In the past, I usually would be in the top class of swimming in my life circle, speed at least. Unfortunately, we hadn’t put emphasis on endurance as usual. The main reason is that we only had to swim fifty meters for any test in school from past till now. Though, I decided to enhance my endurance nowadays. Adjusting the posture of stroke without coach was not an easy mission.

In the beginning, I had to get used to swim every week. I seldom swim in the past, because I usually spend too much on play basketball, soccer, or just jogging. Thus, I sacrificed most of my jogging time to practice swimming. After having enough time, I started to find out the mistakes or fault of my stroke. I made many test in order to find which one was the main reason to make me tired. After these testing, I figured out that rising elbow would be the biggest skill. I tried many methods and found some information about it. In fact, there was no absolutely posture in the swimming pool. Each one has some different in detail because their unique body condition. It took me more than three weeks. I found the best method for me by occasional. Nonetheless, I still had to spend more time to remember this posture by body. On the other hands, how to breathing well would be another big issue. I thought that it would be the bigger problem for me, because it was hard to try. After several weeks, I finally found the best way for me. Similarly, I had to remember by body. Still, it was hard for me to find the right tempo in the beginning, just like jogging. I usually have to swim more than 200 meters and find the right tempo. Alright, there would be need for practice in the future.

Eastern

Last week, we took a trip to the eastern of Taiwan, including Yilan, Hualian, and Taitung. The most beautiful coastline is in there. I have enjoyed the amazing view in the year before last by riding bicycle. Nonetheless, some scenic spots haven’t been visited due to the bad weather. It makes the main reason why we have to go to there this summer vacation. The views of coastline in Suhua Highway are spectacular particularly. Therefore, we decided to take out the train at a small station in Suhua Highway and then we were walking on the way to next station. Because, we thought it was the best way to enjoy the trip.

We arrived at the station in the afternoon, and the weather was very hot. We took lots of luggage, but we still enjoy it. We have walked more than 15 kilometer. The worse, we missed the only train which stopped at the next station in the afternoon. What we could do was to take available vehicle. Fortunately, they were going to the same destination, Hualian train station. Then, we took the train to the Taitung at the evening. We will have taken couchsurfing at Taitung for two days. My partner found the information and made an appointment before. The master is a student also who is one or two years older than us. He was very friendly, helping us many things at Taitung, such as renting motorcycle, introducing the city, or even took us to eat breakfast together.

The Truth Was Always Uncovered

From the last years, I would list some books list each three months. In the beginning, I spent much time on philosophy and psychology, and then art and music. Nonetheless, I just finished these lists after I read some books of them. From this summer vacation, the third plan would be made in the end of semester. The topic was about history. History is a subject that we had studied when we were high school students. Thus, I didn’t think that I would learn so many things from this plan at first. The most important of this mind would be putting more emphasize on contemporary history and skipping out from the normal frame. I read different kinds of books from different viewpoint. I found that there are lots of mistakes in our textbooks.

I always think that most important thing in history is not event but effect. Including our country, many events in the past still affect the life nowadays. In order to dominate people easier, make them ignorant might be a good method. As a result, history which was studied in the high school would become a well tool. Students might develop their wrong mind by these wrong history sources. For example, there was no exactly truth in the world. However, our textbook usually said something right or something wrong by uncertainly text information. On the other hand, the textbook also ignore some very important events just because it might rouse new viewpoint.


After I read some books, I decided to expand my history plan. From antiquity to contemporary, I would read more books to understand more details and different view. More than that, understanding different cultures would be another topic. We used to learn western history in the past. As a result, we used to think the events by western viewpoint. In fact, there is not truth in the world. I think that thinking from different cultures would not less important than others. Besides, I fall in love with military affairs after I read lots of history books from First World War to Second World War. The best technology was always used in military. It was another reason why I love them. I think I will make more models from fighter to warship. I hope I could learn more things and get more ideas when I finished this big but significant plan.

Add One More

Though, the time would be end of summer vacation. We still decide to take a trip to Kaohsiung where I had only been one time. Due to one of my friend live there, we didn’t have to find somewhere to stay. It was a three-day travel. We set out at Friday night and took the final train. I haven’t done that before. I got in the train at 11:30pm and it would arrive at Kaohsiung at 6:00 in the morning. However, it was difficult for us to sleep well at train. All of us were still very tired when we arrived at Kaohsiung. First of all, we had to eat breakfast near the train station and then started the trip in Kaohsiung.

The time I went there was last winter vacation which was with my senior high school classmate. We had rent motorcycle last time, so the traffic hadn’t been the problem for us. This time we only took MRT on first day. As a result, we planed some spots where MRT station is there. In the morning, we went to world game stadium which was like the bird’s net in Beijing I had been last month. Then, we keep taking the MRT and visited some famous station such Formosa Boulevard. Nonetheless, the weather was hotter and hotter; we still had to go somewhere the MRT station is there. Thus, we couldn’t do something but go to Cijin District. It is like an island so we had to take a ferryboat to there. Owing to the hot weather and everyone was very tired, we decided to find a pavilion to take a nap near the beach. Unfortunately, the wind was very hot, but my friends still enjoyed it. We ate lunch at a seafood restaurant which was the most important thing for people who visited Cijin. In the afternoon, we went to National Sun Yat-sen University and Sizihwan. The weather was too hot for us to hang out well, so we didn’t stay for long time. And then, we went back to urban district and visited another friend. He took us to somewhere famous in Kaohsiung but not for tourist. At night, we were so tired that we just went to love river which was very famous and beautiful in Kaohsiung.

TRPASS

Every summer vacation, our club in senior high school would take some trips. Though, fewer people joined a year after a year. We still have very relationship with each other. This year, we had planned a big trip: traveling around island by taking train. Due to TR-PASS, we didn’t have to spend too much money on transportation. Nonetheless, I had another trip in eastern of Taiwan. As a result, I decided to meet with them at Taimali.

It was a summer night, and other people had already been at the mountain of Taimali. At the same time, I was at the night market in Taitung city. I had to ride motorcycle from Taitung city to Taimali. The distance between two of them wouldn’t be too much, but the road of mountain wasn’t good at all. The altitude of mountain is about 1000 meters, so the temperature is lower than city. When I arrived, the tricky game would be beginning. However, the game made the role unhappy in final. Then, we just went to see the stars all sky. The second day, the day started with sunrise-seeing. Thus, we were very tired because there was no enough time for us to sleep well. After finishing our breakfast, we went to enjoy Hemerocallis fulva all round the mountain. It was the most important goal for us to visit there. In the afternoon, we kept up our train trip. We took the trip to Hualian, including a dude ranch and night market. We had such relaxed schedule due to our plan had to match up the bus or train. At Hualian, it took most of our time to find out some famous products. Fortunately, there was no too much something to eat in night market. By the way, we took こうかごう when we went to Hualian. It might be the oldest train in Taiwan, but it was surely that it would be the most exciting thing this night.

Beijing

Last year, we went to Shanghai for a trip which the weather and environment is similar to Taiwan. However, Beijing, the capital of china includes more culture from the Ming Dynasty to now. Some buildings which were built more than 200 years ago are still exist now a day. For another reason is that they just held the Olympic Games last year. As a result, we decided to go to Beijing for a trip this summer vacation.

It was in the mid of July. The weather was very hot in Taipei so was Beijing. We took airplane to Tianjin first where is near Beijing. There were lots of leased territories in Tianjin after losing some wars, so we can see many different kinds of buildings built by different countries. We won’t stay at Tianjin for a long time. The second morning, we took the high-speed rail to Tianjin. It is also similar to Taiwan’s, but regulations are much stricter. We have to register our ID number before buying the ticket and check our packages before entering the train station. Moreover, their train station is much bigger than Taipei main station which is also including many kinds of railway at the one place.

Another trip..

Adventure is always the most important goal in my life. If a trip which was without any danger or challenging, it won’t be any meaning. We usually make some abnormal plan after the midterm or final exam. Particularly, it was the last semester I lived in Hsinchu. Going to some place in Hsinchu with these characteristics was the first choice. Last year, we went to smangus, and we decided to another mountain near smangus.

Just like the last trip, we set out in the morning and ate lunch at the last country before arriving at the destination. Fortunately, the weather in the afternoon was much better than last year. Though, there was much fog all long, it was still not big enough to affect our riding. The view in the kind of weather was best. It seemed like we were in the remote mountains. In fact, we were. Finally, we arrived at there before six o’clock. It was earlier than we had imagined. Then, we visited the elementary school and met some new friends there. It is a small tribe, everyone knows each others and the most important is that they are enthusiasm. However, there is no any entertainment in the evening. After dinner, we just played cards and read magazines we brought. At least, we prepared out dinner well. Last year, we thought that there would be a shop at smangus, so we didn’t bring enough food. We could not do any things but just hungry all night.

Hohaiyan Rock Festival and Ilan

The Hohaiyan Rock Festival we have been every day would be held this weekend, so we take a three day vacation on these days. I remember that we had been last year also, but we went home early due to we were afraid that we would miss the last train. As a result, we rent a car before this year and we would stay at Ilan.

First day, Friday, my friend set out from Hsinchu and then I meet them at Taipei. We went there by freeway No5, but we still arrived at three pm. There were not too much for us to play at the beach. When the time was up, we went to the stage fast and choose a great place to dig a big hole and lay down on the beach during all night. It was the longest time I have listened the performance ever. It was very comfortable with wind and music. We drank some beer and ate some dunk food, or on the other words, enjoyed the life. Second day, we got up at 5:30. We would go to learn how to surf. The beach was near where we had lived. The coach spent about ten minutes teaching us. Then we would take some easy practice after going to sea. How to make enough speed and good balance are the most important things when surfing. However, the waves were bigger than we have imagined and ocean current puff us toward another place. After three hours, none of us could master surfing, but all of us were very tired. Thus, we decided to go back to B&B and took a sleep again. In the afternoon, we went to Ilan and LuoDong, taking some relaxed trip such as going to department store or night market.

The Last Design

It is one of our homework of foundation design a course from department of architecture. I have interests in design since I was senior. However, I only tried some design for poster or website which didn’t have too much elements. Architecture or even industrial design includes more structure thinking and mechanic analysis. This course has been given for people who major in the others. On the other words, the department of architecture gives opportunities for us and most of students there are preparing the entrance exam for research institute of architecture.

We have to do two big projects in this course. We might spend two months finishing one of them, but we had some process each week. Teacher would guide us though each step. For example, the first homework was spells pastes which made us to see colors and structure in different point of view. And then we make some constitution in order to transform form 2D to 3D. It was a big challenge for us, because how to build a block from abstract idea is not in our normal life. Each work had their own meaning; we had to finish the step and demo in the class. Finally, we would design our own building it was the main goal of this project.

The Last Live

It was the end of this semester, the end of my club life too. After the exhibition, we started to take the activities frequently. The important goal for me was to find the new leader of our club. Thus, I made some investigation and then distributed to our member of club. The final performance is the greatest example. Though, it was not impossible for each of them to creation their own songs for this performance, they had their own work such as design the poster, preparing the instrument and so on.

Writing new songs was still the most important things for this performance. However, some of us put too much emphasis on the last exhibition. It was only one month between these two big activities. Fortunately, there were still more than ten songs in this performance. In addition, we combined many elements for each song. Everyone is good at different instrument, so some songs were performed by keyboard, some was by the guitar, or some was even by both of them. And this time more performers sing the songs they wrote. Think to cancel the music festival, we wrote and composed some songs which is both for our club and harmonica club. This cooperation was a good tried.

The Last Game

There were lots of tournaments in May, from WindCity Cup, NCTU cup and ME cup. However, most of them were held in our school, except the ME cup. In the pass, we just want to take a trip instead of playing the game. We went to Yunlin last year, where we were not familiar with. We strolled around the streets or went to night market in the afternoon. This year, the tournament is held by Chung Hsing University which is in Taichung where are famous for their night market.

Due to some conflict, we didn’t go to Taichung with other teams of department together. Each team went there by themselves. We went there at 21:00 and then we started to find the place where our principle of department had made an appointment before. We took the address but we still can not find where it said. In final, we found out that it is a shop which selling the Sun Cake. It was very strange and we walked back and forth in front of the shop for minutes. After the shopkeeper saw us, she told us that the hotel we want to find was at the same building. As a result, we waked through the shop and open a door with mirror. Then we found a long stair steps behind the door. Every one was shocked when we know what kind of place we would live for two days. It was too hard for us to script it, but our basketball team decided to find other place to live.

MAY

The Aleurites Montana always had been in full bloom every May. They are the white flower and plant from Taipei to Miaoli, a very big area. When the petal is falling, it was such like a white snow in May. As a result, it would become the most important topic of tourism in Miaoli. Of course we won’t be absent because we live in HsinChu. Due to the well weather, instead of such a cold day in winter, we usually choose a weekend to visit them every year.

This year, we went to Hukow, is in the north of ChuPei, to enjoy the sight. However, we seldom go there before. Thus, we are not such familiar with Hukow. It was a Tuesday, which all of us didn’t have any class in the morning. The weather was better than we had imagined. We got up at the 6:30 and took the breakfast without any pressure. After about 40 minutes, we had been arrived there by riding motorcycle.

The ME Cup

Every year, our Student Organization would hold the ME cup which the game everyone could take part in. Each grade could organize one team to join any kinds of ball game. However, in the past, who took part in were still the member of the department team. It was such like a game which was just belong to the department team. As a result, our principle decided to change the rule. One department team can only organize one group, but they can’t to take the games which belong to their own. On the other word, each team just can play the game they are not good at.

It continued a week, each day held the different ball game. Nonetheless, some thresholds of ball game are higher, the ruled set that each team can choose one player who belong to their own ball team. The first game was the volleyball which every might play at junior high school. Few people were no sense about the game. The tempo of game was better than we had imagined. It was as same as basketball and badminton. Nevertheless, the softball and table tennis would be another situation. Only few people play that well, so lots of mercenary were be used, or played a terrible game.


Another problem was the some people have more than two statuses. For example, many people have joined the softball team and soccer team at the same time. Thus, they could play the softball game on behalf of soccer or play the soccer team on behalf of softball team. It was the most serious problems, more kinds of player play the game, the difference of strength would more obvious. It affected the result a lot. Briefly, the goals of the cup were good and acceptable, but rules would carry out strictly.

Art Club Exhibition

The biggest activity in the mid-term, no doubt, was the exhibition of art club in NCTU. We had spent more than two months preparing all things of them. For example, collecting the music from each member of our club, building and designing the platform to display our music, making a video to talk about the story of our club, even practice the performance of opening ceremony. Fortunately, everything would be alright in the final.

The ceremony was held on the Thursday noon. It was the third time I join this ceremony. I was familiar with any step. The performance of our club was the first program. We performed three songs with different style. I performed just like the last year, with our band. However, I recorded some track before, so it would be easier to control the temple. And I played the guitar instead of only singing the song. Another one was freshman of our club, who already had amazing composing skill. Due to being the club leader, I had more opportunities to participate in plans. We have distributed the exhibition venue, writing some introduce. As a result, I can convey my thought to others. On the other hand, I have recognized three club leaders from them. As a result, I can try some cooperation with them, such as dubbing in background music for their video.

SLK

From the last summer vacation, I have got interested in making model. Though, I have played them when I was child, I haven’t really understood them until last year. The main reason why I want to research them was that I have learned some structure of car or motor in school. In the past, when we thought of model, we might come up with Gundan or 4WD mini car first. However, I always think that it was only a small corner of model. We used to make them without cement or paint. It was easy process for us to finish them. In fact, most of models correspond to true car or other vehicle. As a result, when they released these models, they have to be authorized by the company of these vehicles.

It is the Benz SLK, the cheapest one in the model shop. There are some components of cars in package. However, the cement and paint would not be included. Choosing the suitable paint is also an important job. Some of them are pure color; some of them are silver or gold. How to draw them to express the texture of metal is also a top skill. Lots of books are talking about that with some special tools. In the beginning, what I have to do is just try each method to enjoy.

Spring Vacation

The five-day spring vacation had been finished. Due to fewer days than we had expected before, a part of plan still hadn’t accomplished. Fortunately, the weather in these days was well, in addition to there won’t any big exam, work, or report after this vacation. We could just play without any pressure. This time I went home by train on the early morning. It was a special experiment. Though, I have wanted to do that since I was a freshman, I still just reach them right now. Our preparing for exhibitions had just finished last morning.After an extremely pressure, we could forget any things about work.

When we arrived at Taipei, we started set out on a journey to BeiTou at the moment, where I have never been for more than five years. The most famous thing in BeiTou is hot spring, we could feel that anywhere. We visited some museum and then we went to Yangming Mountain by walking. I have been here more than five times, but I usually want there by motor or bus. It was also a special experience for me. However, the idea was not brought up from me. As a result, we were tired when we arrived at the top of the mountain. It was a feeling which I have loved since I graduated from high school, but we hadn’t such a big journey since the third grade.

Prepare the Exhibition

It would be the biggest activities this semester: exhibition of art club. It would be held at the end of this month, so we have tried our best to prepare them. Though, it would be an exhibition display our music, there were still a lot of work.

First of all, we have to make a platform to display our music. It could be a website, an animation, or games even. We used to build a website which was kinds of blog. However, it would be hard to find some songs you want. If we wanted to make something which just like what we imagined, we would spent more time on designing that, or the most difficulty, the program. I always thought that how to display is not less important than the works its elves. Fortunately, the good idea will make doing them faster.

Another one is the performance of opening. Last time, the performance was near the music ceremony. As a result, we could take the same songs. However, it was not same as this time; we have to write the songs, compose them and practice again and again. It would also a big work for us.

A Poetic Space filled with the Natural and the Imagined

It was a concert which including music for piano and electronic sound. It belongs to the modern music. Modern music, a kind of classic music developed since 20-centuery. They tried to resist against the older rule. Since computers were invented, some musicians have written some music for combining musical instruments and electronic sounds. They use lots of tuneless interval of melody, and then proceed in the computer which including filter, EQ, or so on. Some strange sounds would happen. It breaks the impressions of classic music in the past.

This concert was a kind of this music. Two people, one was playing piano and another was processing the signal by computer at PA. The sounds from grand piano and then pass though the microphone. However, the sounds of real piano and proceed sounds would happen at the same time. It liked the sounds from electrical guitar connecting with effect unit. Moreover, many natural sounds such as wing, river, or white noise even. We had chosen a sit beyond the computer worker who is one of the performers. We could see any action at any moment when the songs were carrying on. He had to change any parameter for different section. Thus, he also had his own music score. On the other hand, the programs sometimes have written by themselves who have lots of scenes of computer program and the audio.


Unfortunately, there were many unexpected problems with computer. Some trouble happened also at the middle of performance. Sometimes, it is hard to check which like our electrical experiment. In sum, this kind of music are still tried a lot these years. Thank to the better computer and audio technology, more and more skills can be used. Even though recording other kinds of music, there are still overdubbing. Nonetheless, some would still dislike this tried, but take it for some arts and we would know that greatest work is not the most beautiful, convey the thought from creator well is more important.

Taipei International Flora Exposition

We got up early at six o’clock so as to get the ticket of Pavilion of Dreams in the Taipei International Flora Exposition which has been held for four months. However, I didn’t know anything about that until this week. Because the new semester has begun, it was Friday instead of holiday; we thought that there would be more change to visit some popular Pavilion.

Fortunately, we got the ticket of Pavilion of Dreams after two hours though something happened. The Pavilion of Dreams had always thought the greatest Pavilion in Taipei International Flora Exposition. They exhibit some new technology which is connected with people and flowers that was designed by cooperating with Industrial Technology Research Institute. Everyone will be given a watch before entering the Pavilion, and you could enjoy any interacting facilities. Though, it was an exposition of flowers, I think the new technology would be more important role than the others.

Taiwan Lantern Festival

The Taiwan Lantern Festival had been held in Miaoli this year. It is not too far from HsinChu where we live in. Thus, my classmates and I decided to there in the evening Thursday which can avoid too many people in holidays. It is about thirty kilometer, so we went there by riding motor. The traffic was awful though it was not a holiday. Fortunately, there were good plan to help guys who was from other places.

It was the biggest lantern festival I have ever seen. There were lots of vendors around the place. On the other hand, the number of lantern was larger than before also. The most important reason was that the lantern in the past only from sponsor and students who had joined the competition. However, there were lots of lanterns from jail this year which also had the better quality.

Second part of my winter vacation

It was the last night of winter vacation. It means that the new semester is going to begin. However, I always think this winter vacation would be too short. In fact, there were five weeks for this vacation, but it still not enough for me to finish all of things that I want. As a result, I want to extend my vacation. My new semester will begin on March 2nd.The second part of winter vacation was so different from the last one. Nonetheless, these three weeks also can be separate to two parts. One is the week of lunar New Year vacation. Another is the next two week.



There were no too much surprised in this lunar New Year. I got so less money that before that I couldn’t buy things I wanted. We didn’t go anywhere special for me. What the most important I got I think is that I have finished some video games I hadn’t achieved before, and then I understood classical music clearly by searching some information on books and Internet. Fortunately, next two weeks would be more fun I thought. Everyday, I went out for playing with my friends on the first week. Some of them were my classmates now or before, some were net friends, or many different kinds of my friends. Every time, I wore out when I went home at night, but it was the most pleasant time in this winter vacation.

“Do you know why you could be success in last mission?” B asked. “Because we had the same brain, the same pattern of ponder, and the same intuition. All these things had been decided.”

“No, my free will can change anything.” J woke up and stroke back.

“Don’t be silly. Have you decided anything before?” B laughed loudly.

“I wasn’t satisfied the life in the organization, so I had chosen again and ran away.” J said steady. “I believe if you want to do that, you could be success.”

B laughed again, “I should talk you that if there were no K at that time, it was impossible for you to run away by your free will.

Then, J was silent.

“Could it be said that I didn’t want to run away? You have the same brain as me, what you thought before is as same as I thought. What was different is that you had K to help you.”

“You didn’t?”

“He was killed after he had helped you.”

Then, J was silent again.

“No. If I were you, I still will try any method to accomplish what I want.” J said suddenly

“Or?” B pondered at a moment, “We can change status each other. One way or another, we have the same outlook and appearance.”


“I thought could know what kind of person I want to be anytime.”

“Ok. GO.”








J lay down on the hospital bed and recalled anything happened before. He wouldn’t regret to do the surgical operation of canceling any memory, but he still believed he could master fortune by himself.



After five minutes, it began and B walked away from the hospital.
“It was funny. Everything must be decided already; including you met me today and then does the surgical operation.” B laughed again.

“It was impossible to meet me or K just by your free will.”

He remembered that it happened at a night ten years ago. He was called by his father to the old warehouse which behind his home. Suddenly, his father took the thong and then whipped him.

“From now on, you are a member of our narcotics trading group. You have to learn anything about that and started to take over some works. Then we will train you as a good leader in our organization. ”

“Why? I have to finish my school work first. There would be lots of things I want to do. ” J shouted. He couldn’t believe that his father would make the kinds of decision for him.

“Stop dream on!” his father continue whipping him. “When the time I had been your father, I would decide that I would train you as a good leader. The things you have learned from school have been already enough for narcotics trading.”

“No. I don’t want to let my fortune be decided by others.” J said in low voice, but he still didn’t have any force to resist.

J saw a person who looked like exactly the same as him. He began recalled another pictures. “If there were no that person, I might be the kinds of that one right now.” He started to recall.



“What happened? Unhappy?” It was a break after a big trading. A member who was one of group leader said.

“Oh…”J sighed. “It was not the things I want to do.”

“If you really want to leave here, I can help you.”

“Really?”

“Don’t be afraid. There are only no people here.” He said. “However, you have to effort first. And…”

“And?”

“You must not regret any decision at any moment.”


Hence, J started to be helped by boss K. After a month, he eventually left this organization. However, he didn’t how difficult was this mission, and how did he do to help him.


J and that suspect had pursued from deck to the last floor.

“Why? Who is that guy?” J thought again and again.

They were running to the last door, arrived at the edge finally.

“We meet each other ultimately.” That guy laughed loudly when he had no chance to run away.

He was a man who was exactly the same as J. Despite, J had known the truth already. He was still so shocked.

“Do you know me?” He laughed again. “I am you!!”

Then, he laughed wildly.

J was still silently.

“Please, call me B. Anyway, we are as same as each other.” B laughed again after he had said that and J was still silently.

“Do you remember the events you had been helped to leave the organization?” B gaze him. “Do you know why it was without any hitch?”

J was shaking his head with shiver; it seems that something would happen soon.

“Because I had replaced of you, I would do something you should do before.”

J saw B, but he didn’t know how to talk continue.

“After K helped you, he cloned another one. It was me. And I just did something you should do.”

“It is impossible.” J couldn’t believe.

J had never forgotten how mess that time was, how scared was these people. However, no one really knew why the intuition would be the key of this legal case.

Nevertheless, they threw out all of the narcotics to the sea after they saw the police. And then they ran away as fast as they can. Certainly, police didn’t give up either. They wanted to catch all of them including J who was following and pursuing. When he near caught them, J saw the face of one of them member. Then he shocked.

J walked slowly. It was hard for him to believe that truth. Then he was just seeing the person leaving.

Finally, this event was over. Despite, J was punished due to resist the commands from higher level, he still the most important man. An unknown intuition and a decision of believing intuition made a hero.


What cause J shock was the face of him?


Because the first mission success, J’s level climbed up quickly. Anything about eradication of narcotics would allow J to join.


The second mission was also at the night with bad weather. After they got some messages, a group of policemen followed them to search doubly ship. Despite, there were less people than before, J still didn’t absence. Everyone wanted to success by his intuition again.

Police was boarding the ship, and they tried to find some useful clues. Narcotics might be hidden or threw out also. On one could careless, or these clues might be disappeared.

The work for J was not different from others. We recalled the face he had seen last time, it was so confusing. However, he still wanted to see him again.

When all policemen had been a boat, each people who were standing on the deck started to run away. Leader took others to search from cockpit to stuffs, but J still followed his intuition.

Walking on the deck where was really unfamiliar for him. However, there was special atmosphere which pointed him. He didn’t know why, but what he could do was follow this feeling. Walking to the edge and then went toward next step.

“Wait!! Stop!!” he saw a person who were familiar for him, “Hey!! Stop!” J shouted, but the guy might shock and just running faster.

Thus, these people started to pursue and then arrived to a room. J saw the face clearly in the process. A face was as same as him. Though, he saw that, there was nothing strange on his face. However, it still appeared a lot of pictures in his mind.

These yeas, the new powers appeared in this country. They always trained seriously and systematized management. It didn’t take too much that would control all the market of narcotics trading. They were success again and again, police started to notice them and guard against carefully. It took more and more policemen to eradication of narcotics.

J recalled that his first experience of eradication of narcotics. That was the first mission when he had been Dopu police district. He was not understand clearly how important was this mission for police. However, he knew that was the best chance for him to perform well.

It was the night with the bad weather. They got report which said that an unknown vessel was coming which might be the group of narcotics trading. As a result, they started to mobilize lots of policemen in a hurry, preparing for this big action.

Of course, J who was also belonging to Dopu police district was appointed some works.

He was at the G group, but there were not anything in his mind in the beginning. He had not any experience of this case, thus it was such as a man who was searching something in the dark.

When they had been the scene, they were appointed a position which one just need to pure defend.

“It was not an important position of the case here, or on the other word, it was just for something unexpected.” The partner on the same group said.

“Thus, it was impossible for us to be the hero, was it?” J shocked and running away quick. He arrived to the group leader. “Why we have to do some works unimportant?”

“It was just an appointment from higher level; we don’t have any opportunities to choose.” the group leader shaking his head.

“Is it impossible that the edge would be attacked?”

Then the group leader sent him away angrily without any chance. J was also angry, but he given not given up just due to what he said. He knew that he has the free will stronger, and it was not necessary to be affect by others.

We looked his area carefully. His area was a common beach which had a low confidentiality and it also hard for ship to pull in to shore.

“Why it would be impossible for him to pull in to shore at this area?”a strange mind appeared suddenly which had been under control.

However, it affects all of behavior next moment.


Then, he was running back to the center, and took many kinds of equipment. Though, he knew that against the command might get some troubles, he still had to do that due to the strong intuition.

He walked slowly to the beach with gun. The dark sea silently was like the monster waiting for chance to swallow up the world.

Hence, he had arrived the front end and took the light to find some clues. Although, it was such stupid method to find the enemy, the strong intuition pulled him to do that.

Carefully, and walking slowly. He tried to find something surprising by the weak light.

Just as expect, we found some traces after stepping the stones. He felt scared and took the gun. Despite, he knew that battling the enemies by himself was impossible. However, he proved that following the intuition was a correct decision.

Nonetheless, he had never thought that though he could make the decision by intuitions, why these intuitions would appear without any reasons was still unknown.

At least, the intuition producing was not from the free will.

Not how long, some people would appear in the dark. J was holding the gun with scared, but there were not any other idea about how to do next.

“Hey, J was there. We find him!!”

J saw a member who was also belong to the G group. He was waving his hand with pleasant, and he wanted to share this discovery.

Hence, some of them was holding the gun to help J, and some of them want back to find more reinforcement. After moment, they control the scene by lots of policemen. It proved that it is right of J’s intuition. These people were some who the police had wanted to find out.

Can I go home? (1)

J was looking around silently and then closing his eyes. In the peaceful ward, it seemed that the life would be close to the end. There was nothing here. Except for heartbeat, struggling also exist in the deep place.

“Nothing I would scare, because I know what I should do anytime.” J thought suddenly.

When the time he started to recall something in the past, he felt that his hospital bed would be set into action, going forward to the operation room. However, it stopped suddenly before got into the room.

A man was standing from the near side, and then he was walking forward to the hospital bed.

“Do you know what would happen after the surgical operation.” The man saw the J. “Yes. Of course. ” J nodded his head.
“I thought that after time everything happened, you would understand what kind of man you are is not just according to what you want. Or on the other words, the thought which you think is free is decided from others.”

And then the man fixed his eyes on him and continues to say. “At least, this decision is choose from you.”

After the end of the conversation, J got into the operation room.

It was a surgical operation which would cancel all of his memory. There were two people with the same gene because of human cloning. After the surgical operation, everything would make a fresh start. These two people would start their own life. Nonetheless, no one would know what would happen in these guys who have the same gene but have the different environment.

After J entered the room, he started to recall everything in the past.


The last winter, J remembered he was transferred from Grabeiso police district to Dopu police district. A successful drug investigation made him promoted to the higher post. After that day, his fortune would be better than he imagined. However, he didn’t know the real reason in the back.

First Part Of Winter Vacation

It is the end of this years as well as the middle of winter vacation. Last two weeks were the first part, so were my vacation plans. Unlike the past, I try to just list all of to do list instead of schedule. As a result, it is more flexible for me to enjoy my life, and I can change my schedule any time. It is the end of the first part of winter vacation, so I think I have to review some results.

First, I borrowed lots of books from library of our school in the end of last semester. All of them are about social science. These two weeks, I put more emphasis on economics and philosophy. However, just reading books is not enough for me who want to learn clearly. Sometimes, I may read some events or proper nouns; I would find more information from other books or Internet. And then, write down on the notebooks. So for, I could learn what I want by this kind of method.

Then, I take the musical instruments practicing plans, such as piano, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. Unfortunately, only acoustic guitar practicing plan would be carrying out well. I have practiced four new songs, some skills improving also. And I think I would spend more time on practicing electric guitar after I have bought the Effects unit. About piano, I just want to practice more proficient.

Although, I have not started my creation plan, but I had still finished the web of our club and my CAD works. Learning these things was my dream in the past. I improve my FLASH skills also. It would be helpful for me to create some works for next level in next three weeks.

It seems that I have a perfect schedule in this winter vacation. Nonetheless, relaxing is also another things which I want for this year. I have not jogged and played soccer for more than three weeks. The most important reason is that I want to knee restore quickly. Though, I may do less well than before in the beginning of next semester, I still think the health is more important than anything.

bye bye 2010

Good or bad, 2010 have been finished already. It is the most important year in my life, that is, the turning point in my collage life. I always remember what kind of goals I vowed to accomplish in these year when I was a freshman. Before 2010, all kinds of things were just tried, not set the process clearly. What important of this turning point is that I would work harder and harder gradually, and that I would adjust the excellent state when the time I need.
