Add One More

Though, the time would be end of summer vacation. We still decide to take a trip to Kaohsiung where I had only been one time. Due to one of my friend live there, we didn’t have to find somewhere to stay. It was a three-day travel. We set out at Friday night and took the final train. I haven’t done that before. I got in the train at 11:30pm and it would arrive at Kaohsiung at 6:00 in the morning. However, it was difficult for us to sleep well at train. All of us were still very tired when we arrived at Kaohsiung. First of all, we had to eat breakfast near the train station and then started the trip in Kaohsiung.

The time I went there was last winter vacation which was with my senior high school classmate. We had rent motorcycle last time, so the traffic hadn’t been the problem for us. This time we only took MRT on first day. As a result, we planed some spots where MRT station is there. In the morning, we went to world game stadium which was like the bird’s net in Beijing I had been last month. Then, we keep taking the MRT and visited some famous station such Formosa Boulevard. Nonetheless, the weather was hotter and hotter; we still had to go somewhere the MRT station is there. Thus, we couldn’t do something but go to Cijin District. It is like an island so we had to take a ferryboat to there. Owing to the hot weather and everyone was very tired, we decided to find a pavilion to take a nap near the beach. Unfortunately, the wind was very hot, but my friends still enjoyed it. We ate lunch at a seafood restaurant which was the most important thing for people who visited Cijin. In the afternoon, we went to National Sun Yat-sen University and Sizihwan. The weather was too hot for us to hang out well, so we didn’t stay for long time. And then, we went back to urban district and visited another friend. He took us to somewhere famous in Kaohsiung but not for tourist. At night, we were so tired that we just went to love river which was very famous and beautiful in Kaohsiung.




The second, my friend drive the car and his family member took me to department store, many department stores, such as Dream Mall, E-DA World. The scales of these department stores are bigger than which in Taipei. In the evening, we went to Gangshan District and enjoyed the mutton hot pot. And the third day, we went to Tainan and just continue eating. There is too much snack and light repast in Tainan. We also visited National Cheng Kung University where some OB was studying there. The building of ME department is much bigger than ours, and so is the schoolyard. Obviously, there are more sources in their school. It was the first time I visited Tainan deeply. It was much more prosperous than I had imagined. In short, there are many things in south of Taiwan which don’t exist in north of Taiwan.
