Never Surrender

I haven’t missed any the Hohaiyan Rock Festival for five years. It is no exception for this year. However, most of my classmates have to go to work for laboratory; it would be harder for them to spend too much time on enjoying life. Just like last year, we planned some schedules after the last night of Hohaiyan Rock Festival. Fortunately, we have made an appointment near the beach, so we can avoid the traffic jam at this time.

The first day of our trip, no doubt, was Hohaiyan Rock Festival. We set out earlier than before, but it was still difficult to get in the train. We missed the first one, so we decide to go to another train to get in easier. Finally, we arrived at destination at noon. We went to the beach after finishing the lunch. Though, the weather was still hot, but it would be better than before. We believed it would get less sunburn. The music concern started at four o’clock. Then, we changed our sites from beach to stage. We dig a big hole first and then lay in. They had different theme each day. I don’t know what was on Sunday, but they invited many foreign bands with different styles this day. Most of people were looking forward to Mayday, but I think there are some bands better than them at that night.




The second day, we rode the bike around the coastline in the morning. There are totally 20 kilometer long. Due to the hot weather, we got tired than we had imagined. By the way, I have ridden the coastline of northern Taiwan two years ago. In the afternoon, we went to rent the motorcycle at Toucheng. And then we set out to Lanyang Museum and WuFengQi waterfall. I hadn’t gone to the waterfall in the past. It might be the one of the best waterfall I have seen. And it is not too far from the urban district of Jiaoxi. We need to climb up a little mountain before watching the destination, but it wasn’t hard for us. At night, we went to Luodong night market. It is a place where we should pilgrimage each time we got to Ilan. Nonetheless, all of us had no any sense about eating. Thus, we wouldn’t eat too much, just ate one or two special things before going home.

The third day, we went to accomplish the most important goal, surfing. It was the second time that I went to WuShi port to surf. The last time what makes me fail was the speed. However, we had more experiment this time. Thus, we were success frequently. The weather is better than last time, but there were much fewer waves. It took us much time to waiting the waves which was big enough. As a result, we totally spent four hours in the beach. In short, it was still a good progress.
